Today's special guest is the awesomely fabulous Deborah Noel, author of Tangled Bloodlines!!!
“Tangled Blood Lines”
Welcome Deborah!!!! Awesome
to have you here!!! Inquiring minds want
to know, so I’m here to ask the questions. LOL
Thanks for
having me Willow! So glad to be here!
1. As a child, who
was your favorite superhero and why?
It’s been
so long since I was a child! LOL! I don’t really know if I had one. I know that my favorite cartoon was “Speed
Racer” ~ I wanted to be Trixie! Does
that count?
2. If you were going
to take over the world, how would you do it?
I can’t
tell you that, it would give away my secret plan! (and I’d probably get in trouble) LOL! Needless to say it includes vampires,
werewolves and some good witches spells!!
I would probably use some of those Vapors that Brae summoned in “Tangled
Blood Lines” while they were having dinner with Rogi during the trip to
Germany.
3. Other than
writing, what is your favorite thing to do?
Spend time
with my husband and our Jack Russell.
Love to “people watch” wherever we go.
4. Top 5 favorite
bands/songs?
1.
Nickelback
2.
Apocolyptica
3. Bee Gees
4. Shorty
Long (cover band we like to see while down the beach)
5. The
Heartbeats (cover band my cousin plays the keyboards for)
5. Top 5 favorite TV
shows?
1. Big Bang
Theory
2. True
Blood
3. Most of
the CSI shows
4. Criminal
Minds
5. Once
Upon a Time
6. If you could make one statement the entire planet would hear and remember, what
would it be?
Never give
up on your dreams. Be yourself. Don’t do onto someone what you wouldn’t want
to be done to you.
7. Social issue nearest
and dearest to your heart?
I don’t
know if there is ONE that is
nearest and dearest to my heart. I’m a
big supporter of fire-fighters. And
there is a US Marine friend of mine, MAC ,
who is walking across America to each of our 50 States’ Capital to raise
awareness and help for Veterans. “Tangled
Blood Lines” and I are one of his sponsors.
His journey will take 5-6 years to complete and I will be writing a
couple of books telling the story of his travels. Links to his cause can be found on my Facebook
Page.
I am also a
big fan of helping each other in times of need, especially in today’s
economy. That doesn’t always mean
monetarily either. There are so many
things people can do to help each other.
A shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen go a long way. Sharing work leads for jobs, kinds words and
kinder acts are also things we can do for each other. Standing together and holding each other up
will make a different in a world that seems to be crashing down around us
all. United We Stand, Divided We
Fall.
8. In your opinion,
what characteristics do the best bad guys have in common?
Having
great sex appeal and being extremely egotistical seem to be the big ones.
9. What is most
likely to put you in a creative mood?
People
watching, being in the woods, or down the shore. Most importantly, music.
10. Is there anything
you’d like to tell us about your books?
In “Tangled
Blood Lines” I tried to bring back the mean and nasty “old-school” vampires
while keeping them up-to-date. I wanted
to be different, so I added CSI into the mix.
And of course, no story is complete without a twist or two and some
love. “Tangled Blood Lines” is book one
of the “Tangled Legacy Series”. I am
working on the sequel and book 1.5 of the sub-series of “Tangled Legacy
Series”.
Thanks so much for joining us!!!!! We appreciate you sharing!!!!
Thank you

“Old-school vampires
have re-surfaced, responsible for brutal murders and more blood than anyone can
cope with. Cianna Fitzgerald, a young
but 'retired' crime scene investigator, finds herself back in a world she walked
away from some years ago.
“She grew up in
knowing she possesses superhuman power from her 'Irish pixie' bloodlines. She had retired after a particularly tough
case where the victim was her husband’s twin brother. After her brief respite from murders and homicides,
Cianna witnesses a killing where the murderer is a vampire. Her daughter goes missing soon after the
killing. Cianna and the love she had
once pushed out of her life, her estranged husband Declan, travel halfway
around the world to try to save their daughter.
“As the mystery
unravels, she learns that although she is a half-breed, the other half isn’t
'Irish pixie' as she grew up believing – weaving her into a more tangled
history and frightening future than she had bargained for.”
